privacy?

well, it's official. the government is watching us.

i just got a ticket in the mail for running a red light a month ago. complete with photos and online video footage.

you know when the light switches to yellow and you have a mere few seconds to determine how close you are and if you have time to go through or if you need to slam on the brakes and it's alot to think about so fast so you don't so much think as act instinctively because you've been driving forever and know what's safe and what isn't?

yeah. don't do that anymore. they're watching you.

Somedays, all I really want is to curl up in my leather chair with a bowl of fresh baked brownies and ice cream watching tv shows on dvd. Other days, I ache for crowds of friends and conversation and dancing with drinks in a downtown bar. I love and hate my car all at the same time, much like I love and hate public transit. I love the city skyline and I love the vast starry night sky. Sometimes I love the almost silent ticking of my kitchen clock. Other times I play my music so loud I'm afraid the neighbors will get annoyed (but at least they can't hear me singing along). Most of the time I'm too lazy to cook, but when I do take the time, I make an ok meal and actually have a good time doing it. I'm a summer girl, but I like the snow. I try to eat healthy. My favorite food is chocolate. Anything with chocolate. I'm not much into politics, but I am interested in changing the world. I think I can do that through poetry. When I go out to eat, my first choice is sushi. I mean, Italian. No, Chinese or Thai. Maybe sometimes just a good ol American burger. Or Chicago style pizza! Hm. My favorite color is green. At least I've got that one down. Seriously, my sheets are green, my curtains, my bath rug, my phone, my ipod cover, my butterfly chair, my coffee tables, my laptop case, my luggage, my school bag, my shower sponge.... Other than the green thing, am I indecisive? Maybe. Or maybe I just like alot of things. Carpe diem. Seize the day. Make your lives extraordinary.
